About the event
St. Verena’s Charity invites you to a warm and welcoming Community Breakfast at Oak City Cares on January 10 from 8:15 AM to 11:00 AM
.We gather in the spirit of Christian service, following the example of our Coptic Orthodox tradition that teaches us to see Christ in every person we meet. As the Scriptures remind us, “For I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink” (Matthew 25:35).
Our volunteers will prepare and serve a hearty breakfast, offering guests not only a meal but also love, dignity, and fellowship. This event is part of our ongoing mission to uplift individuals and families facing hardship in Raleigh—serving with compassion, humility, and joy, just as St. Verena served the poor and the suffering with unwavering kindness.
